Nursing Program

Kaplan College's nursing program is designed to provide a comprehensive foundation of general and nursing education necessary for nursing practice and continuing professional education. To help you develop the professional knowledge and training to meet client health care needs in a variety of settings, the program includes instruction in the following:

  • Applying core knowledge, competencies, and ethical behaviors in the delivery of nursing care 
  • Providing and managing patient care and participating as part of a medical team
  • Utilizing health care technologies to deliver nursing care

Real-World Experience

To help you acquire hands-on education and real-world skills, the program blends on-ground and online coursework with facility-based clinical practicum experience. With this training, graduates of the program may pursue positions in clinics, private practices, or related medical facilities.

Registered Nurse Licensure Preparation

This program is also intended to help eligible students prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered nurse.†
